HOW LONG ARE YOUR CONTRACTS?Spark Cloud plans are monthly or yearly, giving you access to unlimited hosting, major updates, and enhancements along the way. Spark Onsite is perpetual, meaning you pay once and keep the version of software forever.
WHY IS THE LICENSING PER-SCREEN?By charging a simple, flat rate for each screen in use, our customers get unmatched value tailored to their scale. We don't charge our customers extra for installation, templates, layouts, pages, interfaces, storage, bandwidth, amount of content, Spark CMS users, number of sites, or customer service.
CAN I SWITCH LICENSES BETWEEN DIFFERENT SCREENS?You sure can. At the beginning of your plan we send you a download link for Spark Player, the signage software that gets installed on compatible screen devices, such as kiosks, tablets, and external players. You can activate or deactivate the screen license from the Spark Player setup and admin menus. All licensing occurs in realtime, so when you deactivate one screen, the license is free for another screen in your pool.
SHOULD I CHOOSE CLOUD OR ONSITE?Spark's two license options are tailored to your content hosting requirements. Spark needs to store content for your public screens, like images, videos, apps, and their display settings.
If you enjoy internet-based cloud services like document sharing, web hosting, and content editing, we recommend Spark Cloud. It offers unlimited online storage, unlimited upload / download bandwidth, and a plug-and-play setup experience.
If you have a mandate to keep all hosted data on-premise, choose Spark Onsite. We give you the Spark Onsite network software, which gets installed and configured on your compatible servers. The Spark CMS and Spark Player software run on your LAN.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?You start with a free trial of the Spark CMS, where you can design custom digital signage interfaces. We don't collect your payment information until you determine Spark is the right solution for you.
HOW DO I PUBLISH AN INTERFACE TO A SCREEN?When you're ready to go live, get in touch with your Spark representative. We'll get you setup with a Spark Cloud or Spark Onsite plan.
HOW DO I CANCEL SERVICE?For Spark Cloud subscibers, simply let us know in advance of the end of your license term, and we'll cancel your renewal.
For Spark Onsite customers, there's no need to cancel since you own the version of software forever.
